Beechbrook is proud to announce that we have signed the Investing in Women Code, demonstrating our commitment to supporting female entrepreneurship in the UK.
At Beechbrook, we believe that developing a diverse and inclusive business environment is beneficial for long term growth and innovation. By working in partnership with the British Business Bank and other signatories, our aim is to make the UK one of the world’s most attractive places for female entrepreneurs to thrive.
The Investing in Women Code is an initiative that aims to improve access to tools, resources and finance for female entrepreneurs by encouraging the financial services sector to support women founder businesses. As a signatory, we are committed to advancing access to capital for female entrepreneurs and creating a culture of inclusion by:
- Nominating a senior leadership member who is responsible for supporting female participation in our transactions;
- Providing data on our investing activities, as well as on Beechbrook’s staff and leadership team;
- Adopting internal practices that aim to improve access to tools, resources and finance.
